Here are some simple tips for when your preparing projects to move to any framework really. In this example we are moving a four man team to Zend Framework from a procedural background. The team consists of varying skill sets and I think that is a very important point so people get carried along in the buzz 
- Set tasks that are attainable to begin with, e.g. quick starts, tutorials and gradually ramp up the challenge
- Set challenging tasks for your brightest members of the team
- Make some task deadlines very tight so that the team has the pressure to perform
- Ensure the tasks have a reasonably broad scope and encompass many facets of the framework but also keep more technically difficult areas back so individuals that want to can explore
